Saturday October 24, 2009 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm
YSB's 2nd Annual Day to Play was on September 8, 2007. This county-wide scavenger hunt adventure combined employees, community members and contributors for competition and fun!

On May 12th, 2007, the City of Westminster helped YSB raise $1300 towards our new building as part of the Annual Flower & Jazz Festival Benefit Run/Walk. Four staff members from CCYSB ran in the Baltimore Marathon on Saturday, October 14th, 2006. The team raised over $2000 towards our new building, and finished in 3.38.30.

On September 27th, 2006, Giant Foods in Westminster and WTTR sponsored a fundraising event for YSB. To the left, Ravens players Rob Abiamiri and Corey Ross with YSB director Lynn Davis, helped bag groceries for customers. A percentage of the profits from groceries bagged by the Ravens was given to the Youth Service Bureau that night.

On Saturday, September 9, 2006, CCYSB hosted "A Day to Play", an action-packed day where 11 teams of 4 staff and community members went on a countywide scavenger hunt adventure - think Survivor, Carroll County style! The event began at the site of our new building on Kate Wagner Rd. and ended with a great dinner event and silent auction, held at the Carroll County Arts Center in Westminster. Thanks to our Friends of YSB, we raised approximately $9,000!!!
